All Liverpool fans should love Kolo Toure.
There’s just something so honest, humble and likeable about the guy – and he played his part in our progression to the League Cup Final against Stoke.
Toure gave his all last night before being subbed just before Extra Time, and we’ve found a clip of him staring into the skies during the penalty shoot-out, away from his team-mates who were arm in arm.
We can’t guarantee he’s praying, but if he isn’t – he’s just away with the fairies!
Dejan Lovren is healthy again, so Toure’s chances of extending his run in the side are probably quite slim – but he’ll still be able to provide us a reliable backup option from the bench.
If we’re saving Lovren for our next Premier League tie, away to table-toppers Leicester City, Toure could play the FA Cup fixture with West Ham this coming weekend.
