Following Jamie Carragher’s comments today that Liverpool need a new goalkeeper in the summer, the Liverpool Echo has named a plethora of potential options come the next transfer window.
Simon Mignolet committed another blunder during Sunday’s League Cup Final, and for many, Carragher included, it was simply one mistake too many.
“The goalkeeper may have signed a five-year deal, and he has made some good saves (against Manchester City), but things have to change,” he declared.
The Echo named two front-runners and then a number of potential alternatives, many of which have yet to be linked with Anfield moves.
So Reds, do any of these take your fancy?
