What is the point in having a rule in football if officials blatantly refuse to enforce it?
We’re not saying Liverpool keepers haven’t stepped off their lines in the past during penalties, but on Sunday – Willy Caballero committed the offence three times – while the onlooking assistant – positioned on the line to check for that exact infringement – flatly ignored it.
