Italian international Mattia De Sciglio is a reported target of ours, and his agent, Donato Orgnoni, claims a decision will be made on his future after the Euro 2016 Championships have come to an end, as reported by talkSPORT.
De Sciglio has impressed for both club and country recently, becoming a key part of AC Milan’s setup and attracting plenty of attention. His agent admits that there is interest from a number of top Serie A sides, while we are also thought to be monitoring his situation.
“At this time a number of clubs have shown interest, however we have not discussed anything,” he said.
“Along with Juventus, Napoli and Roma, there are other teams, but I am not naming names.
“After the European Championship we will consider the various proposals. We have not yet thought about the market – but we do enjoy interest from these very important clubs.”
A left-back seems to be a priority this summer, as we’ve already been linked with a number of players in that position. De Sciglio is also able to play right-back too, so could be an excellent signing if we could lure him away from Milan.
At just 23-years-old he has an incredibly bright future ahead of him too, although his quality is no secret and an impressive Euro 2016 will only drive his value up. We’re unlikely to want to get into a bidding war with the likes of Juventus and Napoli, but if Jurgen Klopp wants De Sciglio then he may have no choice.

The talk from his agent could just be a way to give him more bargaining power at Milan, but it’s always possible that the player could have his head turned by a high profile move to the Premier League.
