Ryan Kent reminded Liverpool fans of what he is capable of yesterday as he scored a stunning goal in a 3-2 win for his loan club Barnsley against Leeds United.
The 20-year-old completed the turnaround to put his side 2-1 up having initially gone behind with a goal that played a key role in helping the home side to an important win.
It was agreed last summer that Kent would spend the entire season on loan at the Championship club having only made his competitive first team debut for Liverpool in January 2016 when Jurgen Klopp’s side drew 2-2 in their FA Cup third round match away to Exeter City.
Opportunities in the senior side were limited for much of Kent’s time on Merseyside but an impressive season in England’s second tier could give see a number of clubs come calling.
It’s always great seeing those out on loan playing well, especially when they’re scoring absolute crackers.
