Liverpool’s performance ruined the weekend for many- that’s how bad it was.
Jurgen Klopp’s men showed nothing to suggest they had learnt a thing from struggling against teams with packed defences that threatened on the counter-attack.
It proved to be a display that exposed every single issue in this Liverpool side. Hull’s opener once again demonstrated our inability to defend from set-pieces as well as reminding everyone that Simon Mignolet still has a mistake in him, regardless of how impressive he may have been of late.
At the other end of the pitch, again we failed to break down a tight defence and when we did, there was a worrying lack of quality in front of goal. We eventually ran out of ideas towards the end- a common theme at the moment.
Turning things around is undoubtedly Klopp’s toughest challenge as Liverpool manager and something that will take some time to be fixed.
Liverpool fans have taken angrily to Twitter to express their disappointment over another lacklustre display from the players.
What the fuck is going on Liverpool absolutely embarrassing performance, disgrace, shit. More than just a blip, it’s a crisis. #HULLIV #LFC

Liverpool are struggling for goals. What a poor performance. Tough loss to take.

What’s so frustrating is that every game is the EXACT same as the previous… There is still no difference in performance! Big questions!

That performance was so Liverpool. Failed to beat teams with good defense. Not to mention another goalkeeper blunder for us.
