Jurgen Klopp is set to boldly switch first-choice keepers for the third time this season, reports Dave Maddock in the Mirror.
The journalist says that on Saturday against Spurs, Liverpool’s boss has decided to drop Simon Mignolet and reinstall Loris Karius, our German summer signing.
At the beginning of the campaign, Klopp dropped Mignolet for Karius, but the 23-year-old endured a miserable run of form and was eventually pulled out of the firing line and our long-serving Belgian brought back into the mix.

Liverpool might not have a fixture for three whole weeks after Spurs game…
Despite a decent run, Mignolet has committed two howlers against Chelsea and Hull in consecutive fixtures and according to the report, he’ll be back on the bench.
Liverpool have just 14 games left of the Premier League season and are out of the cups, so providing Karius maintains a decent level, Mignolet is unlikely to play again this season – and he’ll then be a practical certainty to depart in the summer.
Now, Karius has a strong run of important fixtures to prove to Klopp and Liverpool supporters that he’s capable of being our long-term no.1.
If he fails to impress, surely we’ll enter the transfer market and solve the problem this summer.
