Frank De Boer seems to mention the fact he was once offered the Liverpool job as many times as is humanly possible!

Instead, we appointed Brendan Rodgers, who stayed three seasons, before giving Jurgen Klopp, one of the most renowned managers in world football, the job.
“I would love to manage here [Britain],” he says, as reported by the Mail, “but the project has to be right. I told Liverpool I was honoured but I was only one year in at Ajax, it was too soon. I needed to achieve more, and I did.”
While Klopp’s building a project at Liverpool and has a six-year contract in which to do it, De Boer is licking his wounds following a miserable spell at Inter Milan in which he was fired after just 85 days in 2016.
The Italians are not very forgiving when it comes to managers, but his dreadful run of results arguably deserved the sack.
De Boer won multiple Eredivisie titles with Ajax, but being successful outside of his homeland has so far proven more difficult.
We’d be interested to see him manage in the Premier League in truth, but not at our helm, as we’re more than happy with what we’ve got!
