Thats according to Simon Jones of the Mail who was giving an exclusive interview to our friends at AnfieldHQ.
The inside forward has all the attributes that make him a seemingly perfect option for Jurgen Klopp’s forward line. He’s quick, skilful, but most importantly – works relentlessly – as much off the ball as he does on it. Brandt is a team player with exceptional individual ability, the kind of which that in time, could change games for us.
We saw on Saturday how effective our front-three can be, but they have no support whatsoever from the bench, especially considering Daniel Sturridge’s days are numbered.
Adding attackers like Brandt and probably one more this summer is a necessity and a priority.
