Liverpool are leading the chase to sign Celtic forward Moussa Dembele, reports the Express.
They claim that with Betfair, we’re rated as the 15/8 favourites for the Frenchman’s signature, ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal.
At 20-years-old, Dembele has taken Scottish football by storm, bagging 32 goals in his first season so far.
Brendan Rodgers’ decision to sign him from Fulham for a nominal fee was a masterstroke and Dembele is now rated at £40m – despite costing the Bhoys £500k less than a year ago.

Klopp threatens to let forgotten LFC star loose due to injury crisis
Dembele is a sharp finisher and possesses excellent movement, but we don’t necessarily think he’s an upgrade on Divock Origi, our 21-year-old Belgian who’d plunder similar amounts of goals above the border.
Origi has ten for the season with Liverpool and due to the current injury crisis, will be an automatic starter from now until the end of the campaign. We really hope the striker can continue adding to his tally and secure us Champions League football, despite being a substitute for the majority of the year.
