Jurgen Klopp said there’d be no chance Adam Lallana would be back training until after the Crystal Palace game (via Goal), but lo and behold, our midfield supremo is back at Melwood – and he’s got his boots on…
Adam Lallana has been missing since international duty, where he picked up an injury after Gareth Southgate played him in both matches (including a friendly), much to the annoyance of Reds everywhere.

As a result, he missed the Merseyside Derby and games against Bournemouth, Stoke and West Brom. Thankfully, we picked up three wins and a draw from those fixtures, but his seemingly imminent return couldn’t come at a better time with fellow key player Sadio Mane out for the season.
Today, Lallana uploaded the below image to Instagram, with hopeful fans speculating that we might see him on Saturday – albeit from the bench.
His return would be timely, but we’re pretty sure Klopp will stick with the same side that beat West Brom.
It means playing a 3-4-3 formation, but Emre Can is doing so well at the moment he’s proven he can still run things centrally even with one less player.
