On Sunday, French daily Le Parisien reported that Jurgen Klopp is eyeing a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s world-class striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to their report, we’ve emerged as a realistic potential destination for the forward, who’s plundered 79 club goals in the past two seasons and used to play under Jurgen Klopp.

They claim that FSG are willing to shell out €70m (roughy £61m) on the Gabon international, which is the fee PSG were set to spend on Auba themselves.
It’s a serious amount of money, especially for a player who’s just turned 28, but in this day and age, it’s reasonable – considering we were going to shell out that sum for 12-cap centre-back Virgil van Dijk.
Aubameyang is a game-changer and one of the most feared strikers on the planet. He’s devastatingly quick, but backs this up with ruthless finishing.
We’re closing on Mo Salah already, but Auba would be a tremendous coup and one of the most exciting signings in the history of the football club.
Until a proper source confirms our interest though, we’re not holding out too much hope!
