Kevin Stewart has completed his £4million move to Hull City with left-back Andrew Robertson moving in the opposite direction for a fee of £8million.
The Reds midfielder found himself part of a promising batch of U23s stars at Liverpool but was never quite able to earn a regular first team spot after signing from Tottenham three years ago.
An inevitable influx of summer signings was expected to add to Stewart’s already tough fight for a place this summer, thereby making a move to the Championship promotion hopefuls a great opportunity to get some valuable game time and continue his pursuit of a career in the Premier League.

Though he only managed 20 first-team appearances for the Reds, Stewart is undoubtedly equipped and ready to make a significant impact in England’s second tier.
He promises a physicality, composure and work ethic designed to help him thrive at his new club, not to mention an admirable confidence and ambition.
We wish him all the best.
