Liverpool fans have reacted positively to what has been deemed a kind draw for the group stages of the Champions League.
The Reds will compete in Group E with Russian champions Spartak Moscow, Slovenian champions NK Maribor and La Liga side Sevilla.
It is the latter that has predominantly caught the attention of fans, after the Spanish club beat Liverpool in the 2015/2016 Europa League final to win lucrative prize of a place in Europe’s elite club competition.
Supporters are now relishing the prospect of getting some revenge as the Reds prepare to take to European football’s biggest stage for the first time in three years.
Here’s how fans reacted to the draw…

Great draw for Liverpool today. If we can’t progress from that Champions League group then we don’t deserve to be here anyway #LFC
