Jurgen Klopp had to sit through a completely unnecessary pre-match press-conference last night before today’s Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.
Liverpool face the Russian champions in Match Week 2, having drawn a fortnight ago at Anfield versus Sevilla.
Bearing in mind these journalists had travelled out to Russia for the right to sit in front of Klopp and ask a question, you’d really expect them to put more effort in.

There’d been a host of stupid questions, but the one that really riled up Liverpool’s manager was from Sky Sports journalist Bryan Swanson, who, during a Champions League presser we remind – asked: ‘Mauricio Pochettino recently said he loves Harry Kane – are there any of your Liverpool players that you love?’
Klopp, naturally, was remarkably unimpressed:
The press-conference last night was a joke, and Klopp was not impressed at all.
