Naby Keita endured a mixed night whilst on international duty for Guinea as he put his country ahead before later receiving a red card for seemingly hitting out at an opponent.
All eyes are on the 22-year-old this season after he agreed a deal in the summer that will see him officially join Liverpool in July 2018.
Whilst Reds have been assured of the talent that warrants his hefty price-tag, they have also been introduced to a slightly nasty side.
That said, it is a nasty side some fans have chosen to perceive as a necessary trait in the current Liverpool setup.
Keita’s goal served as another glimpse of his attacking ambition as he strode forward with the ball, before exchanging passes with a teammate and slotting home from inside the penalty area to put Guinea 1-0 up against Tunisia.
It went downhill from then on for the RB Leipzig star and his teammates, who went on to lose the World Cup qualifier 4-1 to the Group A leaders.
A torrid evening was typified in the 94th minute when Keita was given a straight red for supposedly lashing out at the face of his marker whilst driving forward with the ball.
Make of it what you will…
