Jurgen Klopp has bullishly claimed there’s nobody better than he for the Liverpool job, and we love it.
The German has told the press that he’s utterly convinced of his project and that if he didn’t believe Liverpool could win the title, he’d WALK.

However, he’s completely certain this won’t happen and that under his guidance, Liverpool can return to our former glory.
“In the moment when I think we cannot be successful, and there is only consolation, I go,” Klopp told the Telegraph.
“Why should I be here as some kind of caretaker until the world creates a manager who can be more successful? That makes no sense. I am really convinced. Other managers have different ways to do it, other clubs have different ways to do it. We have our way. I don’t think I am the perfect manager, I only think I am the perfect fit for this club. And I feel already much more responsible than maybe I should. I don’t even think about going from my side and saying, ‘that’s it’. I really think we are on the right way.”
We especially like his quotes about ‘doing it our way’. Many of our rivals splash more cash than us or play a more defensive brand of football, but Klopp has his mantra and he’s sticking by it.
Fair play.
Some fans have begun to criticise Klopp, but in two years he’s made big improvements to the squad, reached two finals and got us back into the Champions League – without spending any proper money.
At EOTK, we’re 100% behind him – regardless of result today.
(But a win would be brilliant!)
