Remember a few years ago when the narrative we continually read was that players were rejecting Liverpool for Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs because of the ‘London factor’…?

Klopp: I didn’t sign Lukaku because of Sturridge
Alexis Sanchez was the biggest candidate for this, although there were a few others as well.
Now, the tables have turned for Chelsea…
Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has claimed he wants to leave Stamford Bridge and return to a more cultured country!
He told Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport cited by the Telegraph: “I live in downtown Chelsea… What fascinates me about London is its multi-ethnicity, the coexistence of cultures and religions, but I do not see myself living here for very long. It’s too big, too much stress, too much of a metropolis.”
He’s scored six goals in eight top flight appearances and is already as important to our rivals as Eden Hazard, so this is good news for Liverpool – who are currently chasing Chelsea in the table.
Diego Costa before him didn’t really enjoy London either, so we’d advise these latin stars to try Liverpool instead.
It’s a little smaller, much friendlier and you can buy a pint for less than £6 – most of the time!
Next summer, we really hope Liverpool do invest in a 20-goal forward.
The last time we had one was 2013/14, when Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge both broke that barrier.
We won’t win a title without one.
