Football fans are often criticised for virtually endless reasons…
But sometimes, supporters get it absolutely right.
Yesterday, Feyenoord fans held up lights and sang You’ll Never Walk Alone for Brad Jones, their starting goalkeeper, who used to play for Liverpool, of course.
They did this on the sixth anniversary of Jones’s six-year-old child tragically passing away after losing a battle with Leukaemia.
It was very emotional. You can see the tribute in the video below.

What a touching moment. Jones struggled at Anfield but constantly held himself with esteem and is remembered fondly as a result.
Since moving to Feyenoord, Jones was voted the best goalkeeper in the Eredivisie, eventually winning the competition last season to boot.
Well deserved.
