Yesterday, Loris Karius was at fault for at least one of Manchester City’s goals and has not impressed us since arriving from Germany in 2016.
Jurgen Klopp wants to give the 24-year-old an extended run between the sticks, but we’re not convinced he’s any better than Simon Mignolet, who’s also not good enough.
Smith thinks Oblak would be a terrific signing for Liverpool and interestingly claimed he was ‘100%’ certain Klopp would buy a new keeper in the summer.

We don’t like questioning Klopp too much, but his decision to stick with the keepers currently at his disposal is something that confuses us.
Our rivals in the Premier League all have elite stoppers and it’s something that undeniably holds us back.
Oblak would be amazing, but we’d take Roma’s Alisson instead.
