LFC transfer boost; £32m midfielder is ‘fuming’ & wants exit

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos wants out.

The young Spaniard is angry at his treatment by Zinedine Zidane this season, especially after travelling to Leganes and playing 29 seconds last week, MARCA claim.

In total, Zidane has given the 21-year-old just two La Liga starts, not befitting a player of his undeniable talent.

His chances of heading to the World Cup with Spain look diminished as a result and a summer transfer out of Madrid looks likely.

The Daily Star say £32m would be enough to buy Ceballos, which in this day and age, isn’t an offensive sum of money.

While we’re acquiring Naby Keita for 2018/19, we’re losing Emre Can on a free transfer and Coutinho exited in January, so need at least one technically adept central player when the window opens.

Ceballos ticks a lot of boxes, but buying Madrid players is notoriously difficult. Unless the club see him as completely surplus to requirements, he’ll stay.
