Liverpool are leading the race for Jorginho, claims the Mirror’s chief football correspondent Dave Maddock.
He says that we’re favourites to sign the Italy international ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal – and the player would prefer an Anfield switch if it became a ‘shoot out’ between Jurgen Klopp, Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho.

Where Jorginho would play for Liverpool explained
This is partly down to the success of various Brazilians at Anfield in recent years – such as Coutinho, Lucas Leiva and Roberto Firmino.
The report suggests £50m could prise Jorginho away from Napoli, for whom he’s been quite sensational this Serie A campaign.
Napoli are fighting tooth and nail with Juventus for the title and the 26-year-old has been one of the side’s stalwarts, controlling tempo and starting attacks from his deep-lying central midfield role.
With Emre Can almost certain to leave on a free transfer, Jorginho, a better footballer, would be very welcome at Anfield.
He can play no.6, a position Jordan Henderson has failed to make his own this term, and provide excellent cover and support for Naby Keita, the Guinean who’s already arriving from Rb Leipzig.
