It’s fair to say Liverpool fans were suitably impressed by Jorginho last night.
The Brazilian born Italy international dictated his side’s play from deep as the visitors to Wembley stole a 1-1 draw against Gareth Southgate’s quite impressive England.

Great news: Napoli name affordable Jorginho price-tag
Jorginho is not a traditional defensive midfielder in that he doesn’t run his socks off or put in lots of tackles, but he’s terrific with the ball at his feet.
On a few occasions, he played long balls to onrushing forwards which got Liverpool fans salivating.
If he can do that now, imagine the possibilities with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah cutting in on off their wings and getting in behind!
He’d also complement Naby Keita, whose transfer from Rb Leipzig is already finalised.
When Jordan Henderson is fit and in form, he’s a strong option for the no.6, but our skipper picks up consistent injuries and is known to have an off-day, too.
Jurgen Klopp rates him and so he should, but elite competition for the spot from Jorginho could benefit us hugely.
We hope a proper bid is made at the earliest possible opportunity.
30 seconds in and Jorginho has just completely hoodwinked the England defence with an astonishing pass. Sign him up Jurgen.

That ball from Jorginho. Love that. That could work.

40 seconds and Jorginho is already breaking England’s lines.
Quality

Few glimpses of real quality from Jorginho tonight. Supposedly Liverpool’s number one midfield target for this summer.

Jorginho's first time through-ball to Immobile on the first minute vs England is the primary reason why Klopp will need him. Imagine Salah on one side and Mane on the other, defenders will struggle to defend with those first time thru-balls to either of those wide-men.

No Football Twitter, don't get me excited about a partnership between Jorginho and Salah before we've even signed the playmaker.

Jorginho pinging balls like that to Salah and Mane next season oh my days

Jorginho will pick out Salah's runs for fun. Keita Jorginho double pivot would work wonders imo
