There’s more fuel being added to the ‘Nabil Fekir to Liverpool’ fire…
After RMC broke the news that we’d agreed a deal for the Frenchman on Sunday (although this has been denied by other sources), journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin tweeted that Jurgen Klopp has already met Fekir and convinced him to sign – with a €70m deal set for completion in the summer.

Interestingly, he says that Chelsea tried to sign Fekir as well, but to no avail.
We’re becoming increasingly excited with all this news, to be honest.
During the summer of 2017, some of the most reliable news about Naby Keita was broken by Guinean journalists – so the fact the English press is in the dark about Fekir but the French ones are very confident isn’t something that worries us.
Keita is of course joining us in July and at this rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if Fekir joined him.
The 24-year-old will add creativity to our midfield, capable of also playing in the front-three positions, too.
For us, he seems a perfect signing and at £65m-odd – a relatively affordable one.
Last summer, Liverpool convinced Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to sign ahead of Antonio Conte, who was also keen on Virgil van Dijk, before the Dutchman switched to Merseyside as well.
He must be getting sick and tired of Klopp’s ability to sell our club.
