Atletico ready Oblak replacement as LFC happy to pay giant release-clause – Report
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea could sell Thibault Courtois, whose contract runs out in 2019, and sign AS Roma’s Alisson as his replacement…

The Belgian keeper wants to return to Spain to live with his family [ESPN], so Atletico Madrid are an option, which makes sense if Liverpool sign Jan Oblak.
So that’s Courtois to Atletico, Alisson to Chelsea and Oblak to Liverpool.
That leaves AS Roma without a keeper, but perhaps they can take Simon Mignolet off our hands to complete the swap-shop!
The Independent have confirmed that Atletico are preparing for the possibility a club will activate Oblak’s release-clause and we really, really hope it’s Liverpool.
We’d actually prefer the Slovenian to Alisson, who conceded seven against us in the Champions League semi-finals.
Still, either would do – as would Courtois – although we can’t see Chelsea selling us their no.1 and fixing our problem position.
