Jurgen Klopp massaging Cristiano Ronaldo’s ego…?
No chance.
Real Madrid fans have voted our German as the man they’d most like to replace Zinedine Zidane, who exited yesterday following his third consecutive Champions League triumph, but it’s simply not going to happen.

Real Madrid are the antipathy of everything Klopp likes about football – and why he works in the business in the first place.
Dave Maddock of the Mirror sums it up best:
Baffled by Klopp to Madrid suggestions. This was Jurgen only two weeks ago on @LFC "It is a FOOTBALL club. I had talks with other clubs and they didn't sound like a football club. It sounded like marketing, image. I thought wow, that's not the game I love" He's going nowhere…

Liverpool’s manager is halfway through a very exciting project; one we fully expect him to see through.
He loves the fans, his playing squad and has the belief of his owners – who let him run the club exactly in the manner he fits.
At Real, he’d be the puppet of the board and Ronaldo.
Zidane dealt with this excellently and showed a brilliant composure in doing so, but it’s simply not Klopp’s way.
He needs to emerge himself with the people of a city; a club’s ethos. Real Madrid’s ethos is pretty much non-existent. It’s a soulless superpower.
Klopp prefers the underdog, but when he achieves success with us, and he will – it’ll feel so much sweeter.
