The trio hasn’t hit the heights they managed last season and we’ve only really given one team a hiding, which was West Ham on Premier League Opening Day.
But Guardiola made the claim following yesterday’s 0-0 draw at Anfield, which saw few chances created between two very tactically disciplined sides.
Last season, Liverpool’s attack was undeniably the envy of Europe, but this season there seems to be a divide between our midfield and the likes of Mane and Salah.
On top of that, they’ve missed a few chances and are not in great confidence, but it’s not really anything to worry about.
We’re so good defensively that we’ll stick keep racking up wins. The side is undefeated and joint top of the Premier League table, so we’re not going to start criticising anybody right now.
After the international break, we’ve a theoretically easier run of fixtures in which we can hopefully start purring again.
