With five clean sheets from eight league games putting him in the lead for the Golden Glove, the Brazilian stopper has barely put a foot wrong since confidently replacing Loris Karius. He’s been £67 million well spent.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Alisson has conceded a goal every 240 minutes – once every 2.7 matches – and he could become the first Reds goalkeeper to win the Golden Glove since 2007-08 when Pepe Reina scooped the prize with 18 clean sheets in the Premier League.

The Brazilian has saved 86% of the 18 shots he has faced this season, and even his blunder against Leicester City has largely been forgotten such has been the quality of the rest of his time wearing the Liverpool goalkeeper shirt so far.
With stats like those, it’s little wonder that we have looked so solid this season – there should be no reason why it cannot continue.
