We know David Beckham played for Manchester United, but he was certainly adept at taking set-pieces over the years.
After Harry Wilson’s stunning shot for Wales against Ireland, though, the on-loan Reds man was compared to Beckham by his international boss Ryan Giggs.

Via Sky Sports, Giggs said: “It’s a special talent to be able to do that. I have seen David Beckham over the years with his free-kicks and it’s all about practice, practice, practice, and Harry does that as well. He does it all the time in the training.”
Everyone at the Reds’ Academy will have huge smiles across their faces this evening as the graduate produced another moment of quality on the big stage following his goal against Manchester United at Old Trafford three weeks ago.
We think his set-piece was more reminiscent of Steven Gerrard or Xabi Alonso – but it’s still high praise for the winger.
