Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Watford powerhouse Abdoulaye Doucoure by French outlet RMC.
They suggest the midfielder, rated between £30m and £40m by the Hertfordshire club, is being targeted by PSG boss Thomas Tuchel – but that both Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring the situation.

Doucoure would jump at the chance to sign for Liverpool, as his comments from earlier this year prove:
“Liverpool is a club that needs no introduction,” Doucoure told Canal+ in March.
“It would be my dream to play in a club like this.”
Having signed Fabinho in the summer though, Liverpool have already ticked the box Doucoure could have filled.
The Brazilian has incredible physical traits, works hard, tackles, intercepts and sets us on the front foot with smart transition play – much like the Watford man does at Vicarage Road.
As a result, we don’t think we’ll make a move for Doucoure in coming windows, despite being impressed with his performances both last season and this.
If we are to bring in a midfielder, it needs to be someone with slightly more panache and creativity.
