This statistic is insane, to be fair.
There are more ways to win the ball back than just tackling, but for Liverpool’s starting midfield trio to not make a successful one throughout the 90 minutes v Red Star, considering Fabinho made NINE on his own against the same opposition two weeks ago, is eye-opening.

Fabinho won 9 tackles at Anfield vs Red Star Belgrade.
Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner and Adam Lallana won a combined zero in the reverse fixture.

Hindsight suggests the Brazilian should have started the game, but in fairness, he was awful versus Arsenal on Saturday evening and few argued with the decision to drop him beforehand.
The stat does show though that Liverpool lost out physically and failed to show the battling traits that the likes of Milner and Lallana are renowned for.
Thankfully, Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson should be back for Sunday’s clash with Fulham, which gives Jurgen Klopp more options.
We’d like to see Keita alongside Fabinho in a double pivot, with four attackers, in the shape of Xherdan Shaqiri, Mo Salah, Sadio Mand and Roberto Firmino ahead of them.
Let’s see who the boss decides to go for.
