Ovie Ejaria will leave Liverpool to join Reading on loan for the remainder of the season in search of regular first team football.
The midfielder recently cut short his temporary stint with Rangers having managed 28 appearances across all competitions for Steven Gerrard’s side.
He subsequently returned to Melwood in view of continuing his development on home soil, with a number of Championship sides having reportedly been interested in his services.
Ejaria is set to undergo a medical before teaming up with Jose Gomes’ relegation-threatened side, according to the Liverpool Echo’s James Pearce.

Reading are without a league win in 10 games and currently find themselves five points from safety down in 23rd place.
It won’t be Ejaria’s first tough spell in England’s second tier, with the 21-year-old having spent the second half of last season with now-League One Sunderland.
Time at the Madejski does, however, mark another welcomed opportunity for him to continue his development and exercise the experience he gained in Scotland.
Liverpool are meanwhile also expected to recall Ben Woodburn from his loan spell with Sheffield United having seen the Welshman make just seven appearances since completing his summer switch.
