Bayern Munich will be without Arjen Robben for their trip to Anfield on Tuesday night in the Champions League last-16, but Frenchman Kingsley Coman will be back having been a doubt earlier in the week.
Robben, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid winger, now 35, has been sidelined with a thigh problem which is expected to keep him out of the game. He hopes to be back in time for the second leg in the middle of March.

Coman, though, was expected to be out having been taken off during Bayern’s Bundesliga game with Augsburg on Friday night. Having been assessed, he has been given the all-clear.

Coman scored twice in the Augsburg game and will be someone that the Reds need to keep an eye on. Still only 22, he’s starting to fulfil his vast potential.
Ex-Arsenal player Serge Gnabry is likely to be the other winger, although Franck Ribery is another option in Bayern’s ranks.
