Jurgen Klopp could be seen having a heated discussion with Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac when the referee’s final whistle blew at Anfield this evening.
We’re not sure what the exchange was about, but perhaps it could be that the boss was unhappy with Bayern’s time-wasting tactics which Manuel Neuer and co. employed towards the end of the 90 minutes.

Klopp never got on with Bayern during his time with Borussia Dortmund, so there is a clear rivalry. The only important thing, though, is that we are in a good position to progress given Bayern did not manage to score an away goal.

Whatever it was caused by, hostilities will be resumed in Germany in about a month’s time.
We have every reason to believe the Reds can get through to the quarter-finals, provided we perform in the same manner at the Allianz Arena as we did tonight at Anfield.
