This is a shame.
Liverpool’s talented young Polish stopper Kamil Grabara is currently on-loan in Denmark at Aarhus, but had a day to forget against Vejle BK yesterday.
The first goal he conceded in a 2-2 draw was the result of a poor short pass which was intercepted, and the second a genuine howler, allowing a pea-roller through his legs – in scenes reminiscent of Massimo Taibi for Manchester United all those years ago.
In fairness, it’s better for Grabara to get these mistakes out the way, as he’s only going to learn from them. From what we’ve seen of him, the 20-year-old is very talented and has a future at the club, perhaps as Alisson’s backup one day.
As a result, we’re backing him to bounce back!
