Reds ‘to open contract talks’ with forward after impressing Klopp in training
The 25-year-old Dutchman had a very tough time at Old Trafford, but then so did Mo Salah at Chelsea. Given the Reds were interested in Memphis when he first came to England, it seems like a rumour that makes sense.
As these replies to his tweet involving Gini Wijnaldum show, Reds fans are quite keen for it to happen.
Whether Jurgen Klopp does want Memphis or not remains to be seen, but we’d certainly back a move for him.
The only question mark would be over his attitude, which has been questioned at times in the past, but Michael Edwards and the scouting team have proven they are capable of doing the due diligence on players before.
One thing is for sure: if Klopp does want him, both Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk will put in a good word!
