The Reds’ pre-season got off to a winning start after a whole of host of players got a run-out against Tranmere Rovers in a 6-0 victory (a number we’re pretty used to by now after Madrid).
An impressive display was wrapped up by Bobby Duncan, whose intuitive close-range finish made it half-a-dozen for Jürgen Klopp’s side on the night.
In truth, the young Reds striker owed his goal to a majestic run from Ki-Jana Hoever.

In acres of space on the right flank, the young Dutchman took on two defenders and played the ball into the box, which eventually found Duncan who was able to cap off a satisfying win.
Duncan could find further opportunities in this year’s pre-season and looks set to accompany the Reds on the rest of the tour in the United States.
