This news comes just as rumours begin to circle about Liverpool being interested in 21-year-old CSKA Moscow forward Fedor Chalov.
It’s interesting to wonder if these two separate pieces of news are somehow linked together.

Earlier this year, Awoniyi was subject of interested from Bundesliga club Schalke after impressing on loan at Belgian outfit Mouscron – as per the Liverpool Echo.
The winger’s future at Anfield if far from certain, and he’s likely to be tempted by a move to another top European club.
Considering we’ve already put a price tag on the lad, I don’t expect Awoniyi to be sticking around on Merseyside for much longer.
The Nigerian still doesn’t have a permit to play for Liverpool despite singing for the club four years ago, you have to consider how much the Reds actually want to keep hold of him.
