Naby Keita is set to miss Wednesday night’s UEFA Super Cup clash with Chelsea after picking-up an injury in Liverpool’s final training session before the match.
As is common before a European game, the squad underwent preparations at the stadium on the eve of the fixture but, after pulling-up, Keita was forced to leave the pitch with a fitness coach.
According to David Maddock of the Mirror, Keita headed straight down the tunnel after potentially suffering a recurrence of a muscle problem.
He walked off with a physio and went straight down the tunnel, which suggests it's not the best news, and could be an injury recurrence.

It’s a frustrating blow for the midfielder, who has already spent plenty of time on the sidelines in 2019.
An injury sustained at the Africa Cup of Nations disrupted his pre-season, but he was able to return for our final friendly against Lyon and feature as a substitute in the Community Shield.
Keita was then left on the bench against Norwich, perhaps with a view to playing him from the off in midweek.
After a debut season of adjustment, Keita could hit tremendous heights this term, provided he swiftly overcomes these fitness struggles.
