Liverpool were absolutely brilliant against Arsenal at times, and while the Reds got nowhere near their peak, some of the play from the likes of Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah was quite simply sublime.
Salah’s second goal (which you can view by clicking here) and Firmino’s ridiculous, audacious flick to tee himself up for a volley (which is well, well worth another look – click here for that) were unbelievable moments – and, according to Reds supporters, deserved better than the commentary that accompanied them on Sky Sports.
Martin Tyler is not really a favourite of Reds fans, having gone very over the top with his celebrations when Anthony Martial converted on his Manchester United debut against Liverpool. He’s never got so excited since, and he was not impressing at Anfield today, either.
