Liverpool are lining up the signing of 16-year-old Dutch youth prospect Naci Unuvar, according to reports.
Don Balon – who are admittedly not regarded as being the most reliable source in the world – suggest that Real Madrid are the dream club for the attacking midfielder, but the Reds, Chelsea and Manchester City are also in the mix.
Key to the deal happening could be the existing relationship between the two clubs, following the signing of Ki-Jana Hoever last summer. The defender arrived at the same age, from the same club, making his debut for the first team in the FA Cup just months later.

Ajax have a history of bringing through exceptional talents and if recent times are anything to go by, their young stars are well worth watching out for.
If the Reds are indeed interested in signing Unuvar, it would be the latest example of the club’s new approach of looking to sign very young players who are on the verge of becoming stars as the likes of Matthijs de Ligt and Kylian Mbappe have over the last couple of seasons.
Like with Sepp van den Berg, Harvey Elliott and Hoever, Unuvar would fall under the same category.
