(Video) ‘Must be his FPL captain’ – Klopp’s reaction to own-goal

Jurgen Klopp looked mystified when he was told Trent Alexander-Arnold had been denied credit for Liverpool’s opening goal against Burnley.

The right-back looked to swing a cross into the box but, after taking a nick off striker Chris Wood, it looped over Nick Pope and into the net.

Klopp was under the impression that his young right-back had gotten off the mark for the new season, but it has officially gone down as a Wood own goal.

And when he was told in his post-match interview, he looked utterly stunned before turning his eyes on the camera with a judgemental stare!

It’s hard not to laugh at this clip, taken from Sky Sports Premier League.

One supporter speculated that the reason for Klopp’s dismay was that he had Trent as his captain in Fantasy Football, and saw the goal points downgraded to an assist!
