Ian Wright says the Reds will have an edge on Chelsea this afternoon because the Blues are set to be without midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The French star has been struggling with an ankle problem all season and is said to be unlikely to start at Stamford Bridge, and Wright says Roberto Firmino could exploit the space that he would normally vacate.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, via the Daily Express, the former Arsenal man said: “The thing with Liverpool is that they’ll break and they’ll break very quickly.
“When you haven’t got Kante, it’s no surprise to me that they haven’t kept any clean sheets and people are causing them problems in those areas because he’s not there.
“If he was there I’d feel totally different about at least being able to regain some possession but that is the problem for me, with Chelsea, that position there and where Firmino, who’s in unbelievable form at the moment, can cause all sorts of problems.”
With or without Kante, Chelsea will be a tough opponent to get the better of, but the Reds can be more than confident of going there and getting the three points which are required.

Firmino is on fire at the moment and the Brazilian has done very well against Chelsea in the past. Once again, he will be crucial to the Reds’ chances of success.
If he, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are efficient with their opportunities, the Reds could net two or three and put the game beyond Frank Lampard’s side. No doubt doing that will be easier if Kante is not playing.
