There has been a lot of information flying around about Liverpool’s reported new kit deal with Nike, which would see the manufacturer take over from New Balance next season.
With nothing concrete in place, it’s hard to know which story being told is the most accurate. I’ve done a little digging around and think I’ve got two solid pieces for us to focus on.
The first is an apparent leak by Footy Headlines in which they revealed that the deal with Nike is over the line, the club has been given information on what kits Nike would make for them. The same report claims that next season’s away kit will be green.

And the latest line from a more reputable source states that Nike are offering Liverpool 20% of the revenue earned, and that Drake and Serena Williams will help promote kits.
That’s according to the Times who say that 20% roughly translates to £30million, which is less than what Chelsea and Spurs receive as part of their deals.
With these two recent articles, it can be assumed that Nike are the only serious competition to New Balance, and that Liverpool are keen to make them their new manufacturer.
