Andy Gray often pops up with a controversial opinion, and the former Everton and Scotland striker has dropped another clanger after a terrible tackle on Mo Salah by Hamza Choudhury.
Now plying his trade at beIn Sports, Gray said that he didn’t see much wrong with the challenge by the midfielder. The pundit turns around and says any tackle endangers the person on the receiving end, and thus normalising the aggressive challenge.
Former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo isn’t having much of what Gray had to say, and suggests the tackle from Choudhury was dangerous.
