Liverpool forward Ben Woodburn, who turns 20 in just over a week’s time, has suffered a blow while out on loan at Oxford United.
The Wales international is set to miss around 12 weeks of action with a fractured metatarsal.

Over the last few weeks, Woodburn, by all accounts, has started to fit in very well under the former Liverpool youth boss Karl Robinson, and alongside ex-LFC Academy star Cameron Brannagan.

Reds fans will love the reason James Milner moved to Anfield – and his decision has been vindicated
He has been playing well, creating chances and scoring goals, and appeared to be making significant progress at the Kassam Stadium.
Now, though, he will be heading back to Melwood for treatment, which must be incredibly frustrating for a young man.
He has not had the best of luck with injuries over the last couple of seasons since making a goalscoring Reds debut in front of the Kop against Leeds United in the EFL Cup when he was just 17.
Ben Woodburn will follow his rehabilitation programme at Melwood if, as suspected, his scan today confirms that surgery is required.https://t.co/cRXTBjknFW

Hopefully, the timescale placed on the injury can prove to be a little cautious and Woodburn can be back in action sooner rather than later.
