Liverpool are among a host of European clubs that are interested in Hertha Berlin’s rising star Javairo Dilrosun, according to reports in Italy.
The winger has reportedly garnered interest from Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, but now it appears as if the Reds are in the running.
That’s according to Italian outlet Calciomercato – who claim that the German outfit have already sent scouts to watch Dilrosun in Berlin.
The winger spent a few years at Manchester City, before moving on in a search for more regular first team opportunities – and he’s found that in the Bundesliga.
The young Dutch forward has racked up ten domestic league appearances for Hertha this season, bagging twice on his way, and would be a solid addition to any club’s team.
Dilrosun has finally broke into the first team at Hertha, and even if Marko Grujic whispers sweet nothings in his ears, I’m not sure he’ll give that up for a shot at Liverpool or Chelsea.
That being said, as he is a young Dutch international footballer, he may fancy his chances at playing in a team that has Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum.
Like all rumours that surface just before the January transfer window, this should be taken with a fair sprinkle of salt – and only time will tell.
