It’s not long before Kylian Mbappe’s name comes up, when Liverpool fans talk about players they’d love to see the club to sign in the summer.
Along with Jadon Sancho, it appears the Frenchman has captured the imagination of Reds fans as they’ve talked the rumours into existence.
There have been no substantial reports suggesting that Mbappe and Liverpool will ever be a thing, but #Mbappe2020 has become popular since talk of Nike making our kits from next season began.
And now Spanish outlet El Desmarque (as per football365) are reporting that the Reds are looking at making a ‘juicy’ offer for the forward.
They claim that the Reds are prepared to smash their current salary policy, and offer the Frenchman an astronomical wage which would be irresistible.
As I said before, there are no solid reports linking Mbappe with Liverpool, and most of the rumours seem to originate from fans making jokes amid talk of Nike making the new kits.

In truth, this report from the El Desmarque is quite hard to take, as it’s unclear as to the validity of their reporting. For now, I’d take these rumours with A LOT of salt – never mind a pinch.
If someone like Marca, the Guardian or L’Equipe start talking it up, then we may be onto something.
